Devin has always been interested in art, possibly because drawing has always been easier for him than talking. When he was younger, he was inspired by Disney, Chuck Jones’ Looney Tunes cartoons, DC animated shows, and more recently Seth McFarland’s Family Guy. The action, humor and wild and fantastic stories of these cartoons excited him and showed him the power of creating stories.
Devin has learning disabilities and is on the autism spectrum. Growing up with autism has invariably influenced his approach to art. His 2D animation work is influenced by Disney and superhero shows. His unique approach is to bring a sense of humor and his own personal sensitivities to his animation work.
